Following a very serious car accident on FM 1960 in February 2013, Kingwood resident Aubrie Linder was transported from the scene via Life Flight helicopter.
Before the accident that claimed the life of her boyfriend and injured two other passengers in the car, Linder and the group had enjoyed an after-work dinner at an area restaurant. As she was driving home on FM 1960, the driver of another car swerved into her lane causing a collision with her car.
“I don’t remember much about the accident,” Linder said at a “40 Years of Life Flight, 40 Days of Thanks,” campaign event at Memorial Hermann Northeast recently that kicked off a community celebration of 40 years of the innovative air ambulance service. “I don’t remember the flight. All I remember is waking up to my mother crying and being put on the operating table.”
